Will the Taskforce offer to buy my property if I don't directly share a structure with the affected property?

In deciding whether a dwelling is an Eligible Impacted Property the Taskforce will consider a range of information about the property. While structural dependency is an important consideration, in some circumstances it may be preferable for the Territory to purchase a property that does not have a structural dependency but has some other connection with the associated affected property that is or will be owned by the Territory. In such cases, it may be considered to be an Eligible Impacted Property and the Taskforce may invite the owner to apply for the voluntary Eligible Impacted Property Buyback Program.
