Can you guarantee that the improvements I want to keep and have agreed with the Taskforce will remain and be in working order?
No. Prior to demolition work commencing on site, the Taskforce will provide the demolition contractor advice on what items have been agreed between the Taskforce and the First Right Holder for retention. The demolition contractor will be instructed to take due care and exercise due diligence with all works, but there is no guarantee that improvements will not be accidentally damaged during the demolition process.
Additionally, removal of some items may be required to achieve clearance of the affected block. This will be informed by the assessment of a Licensed Asbestos Assessor.
