Fluffy Walkers

The first fluffy walk in late August 2014 has evolved into a regular activity that now runs itself. The following is a summary of how it works.

What: an approximately 45 to 50 minute walk along the walking/cycle path at Weston Park, concluding with coffee at the Yarralumla Gallery and the Oaks Brasserie, 1 Weston Park Road, Yarralumla.

When: alternate Sunday mornings, according to the dates for 2020 below. The schedule is never varied. If you would like to go for a walk on a scheduled walk day, simply turn up.

How: meet at the café end of the car park at 10am for a prompt start at 10:10am. The walk is always in a clockwise direction, as this gives any late-comers the options of hurrying to catch up, walking counter-clockwise to meet up somewhere along the way, or waiting until walkers return to the café for coffee. Or just come along for coffee at 11 am.

At the cafe: table 15 is generally booked in the name of Rosemary at least one or two walks in advance. Occasionally table 15 is booked for a party, in which case we generally have table 13 instead.
